Mahsoom [innocent] needs our help!
Mahsoom, a six year old boy, sustained severe burns to his face, chest, and arm due to a home fire approximately one year ago. Because of the severity of the scarring, he is unable to close the left side of his mouth and has difficulty eating and drinking. His father brought him to the American military base in Farah, Afghanistan. During their visit, the child was holding a dried poppy flower to cover the left side of his face. US Army Captain took Mahsoom to one of the military physicians and was told there was nothing that could be done in Afghanistan. Arrangements have been made for Mahsoom to be treated at the Grossman Burn Center in Sherman Oaks, California as soon as sufficient funds are available for his care.
